Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Furniture Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting furniture and large household items from our warehouse to customers’ homes or designated locations. Your enthusiasm for excellent customer service, combined with your ability to handle heavy loads and operate commercial vehicles, will ensure a smooth and positive delivery experience.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate delivery trucks and commercial vehicles to transport furniture items to customers’ locations.
- Load and unload furniture using moving techniques, forklifts (if certified), or other equipment, ensuring items are secured during transit.
- Communicate clearly with customers to confirm delivery details, answer questions, and provide exceptional service.
- Navigate routes efficiently using GPS or other navigation tools, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles before and after deliveries to ensure safety and proper functioning.
- Assist with warehouse organization, inventory management, and preparing furniture for delivery.




- Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and reports as required by company policies.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in moving furniture or similar heavy lifting tasks preferred.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or equivalent certification required.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday.
- Experience operating forklifts is a plus; certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Warehouse experience or familiarity with logistics operations is advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to follow schedules precisely.
