General Manager PVX Plus The COMPANY PVX Plus Technologies Ltd. is a profitable and growing company based in Markham, ON. PVX Plus is an established software company with hundreds of thousands of users and we are preparing for the next stage of our growth. Our development language, PxPlus, is an application development environment designed to simplify the development, deployment, and support of business applications.

More than just a language, it provides a full suite of components that complement the development of our customers’ applications. We are seeking an experienced and passionate General Manager to join our team of highly motivated, fun-loving, challenge-seeking individuals who care for one another and for our clients. Reporting to a Group Leader at Vertus/Jonas Software, the General Manager will develop / manage a strategic plan to advance the company's mission and objectives and will have full Profit & Loss (P&L;) responsibility to drive revenue growth and profitability.

You will ensure that Company goals are met in a timely fashion by effectively managing personnel and resources, working closely with the existing leadership team. The financial and resource planning for all aspects of PVX Plus (full P&L; responsibility of the revenues and operating expenses of the business) - ensuring the business is financially sound, well managed, and achieves key targets. Coach and develop employees at PVX Plus to help drive company performance and grow their careers.

Serve as steward of company environment and culture ensuring that PVX Plus is a welcoming, collaborative,



open and safe workplace that successfully attracts and retains human talent. Oversee company operations to insure production efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources. Take the initiative to implement social events for employees and create an engaging office environment.

Minimum of 5 years’ management experience.

Experience managing and driving an effective sales team / sales engine considered an asset.

Experience with software, considered an asset.

Experience with software development / technical understanding considered an asset.

Experience managing a Profit & Loss. Ability to motivate teams and simultaneously manage the business. Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, sales or marketing.
