Job Summary

The HCA is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of the Care Coordinator and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the client’s needs. This is a casual, part‑time position.

Responsibilities

- Assistance with personal care and hygiene
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping
- Accompany clients on outings
- Shopping and errands
- Medication assistance/reminders
- Ambulation and transporting of clients
- Provide companionship to clients
- Follow Care‑plan
- Documentation/Charting

Qualifications





- HCA certificate and registered to work in AB, or equivalent (foreign‑trained nurse, nursing student)
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written
- Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain it
- Negative TB skin test or chest X‑ray
- Ability to travel within the location territory
- Access to Internet/Mobile phone
