Job Description: Job Summary
T he Intermediate Backend Developer will build the orchestration/workflow layer for Client Unified Experience, supporting electronic tracking (eTrack) of applications/lifecycle and electronic documents (eDocs). The role involves implementing Camunda-based workflow/BPMN logic, exposing services to surface application status to the advisor portal, and integrating with backend source systems. Developers will work within an Agile squad under senior technical dire ction.
Key Responsibilities
Impl ement Camunda workflows (BPMN modeling and orchestration logic)
Develop RESTful APIs and microservices in Java/Spring Boot (Maven-based, deployed to Azure/AKS)
Integrate orchestration flows with backend source systems via APIs and messaging/queue patterns (JMS/ActiveMQ)
Design event-driven orchestration for multi-step transaction lifecycles (e.g., submit ? approved ? funded)
Support Agile delivery with Git-based CI/CD workflows (GitHub, PR-based)
Test and validate orchestration flows ensuring performance and reliability
Collaborate with Agile squad to align with program objectives and technical direction

Camunda workflow/process orchestration (BPMN modeling and implementation; Camunda 8/Zeebe preferred)
Systems integration with backend source systems via APIs and messaging/queue patterns (JMS/ActiveMQ)
Event-driven/service orchestration design for transaction lifecycles
Agile delivery with Git-based CI/CD workflows (GitHub, PR-based workflow)
Top 3 Nice-to-Have Skills
Integration with document management systems (Alfresco, OnBase, Documentum, OpenText)
MuleSoft or comparable API gateway experience, or Salesforce data integration exposure
Financial services/banking domain experience
Required Qualifications
3–5 years of backend development experience
Robust knowledge of Camunda BPMN orchestration and microservices architecture
Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and cloud deployment (Azure/AKS)
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Git-based CI/CD workflows
