Little Kids Club of Royal Vista is a new Early Learning and Childcare Centre located in Calgary's NW community of Royal Oak.

We are currently seeking a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Childhood Educator for an On-Call / Casual position starting immediately. The initial need is expected to be up to 30 days, with the possibility of continuing longer depending on the needs of the program.

Our program serves children from 19 months to Kindergarten and incorporates a blended curriculum inspired by Montessori and Reggio Emilia approaches.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated, flexible, and reliable Level 2 or Level 3 Early Childhood Educator who is available to start immediately.

The position is initially expected to be up to 30 days, with the possibility of extending beyond 30 days based on the needs of the centre.

The successful candidate may be required to work with either of our program groups:

- 19 months to 4 years
- 4 years to Kindergarten

Depending on the needs of the program, the On-Call Educator may be required to work in ratio with either age group. The ideal candidate is adaptable,



dependable, communicates well, and has a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development. Qualifications & Requirements
- Alberta ECE Level 2 or Level 3 Certification – Required
- Available to start immediately – Required
- Previous experience working as an Educator in a licensed childcare setting – Required
- Experience working with children between 19 months and 6 years – Required
- Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search dated within 6 months of hiring– Required
- Demonstrated knowledge of Alberta's Early Learning and Child Care Act and Regulation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Ability to adapt quickly to different classrooms, age groups, routines, and staffing needs
- Reliable and dependable attendance
- Knowledge or experience with Montessori and/or Reggio Emilia practices – Preferred

Hours & Scheduling Hours of Operation: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–5:30 PM

- Start date: Immediately
- Initial assignment: Up to 30 days
- Possibility of continuing beyond 30 days based on the needs of the program




- Shifts will fall within our hours of operation and may range from approximately 3–8 hours per day.
- Breaks are scheduled for shifts over 4 hours.
- Hours and shifts are based on the needs of the program.
- Flexibility and availability during our operating hours are an asset.

Work Location In person – Calgary, Alberta (Royal Oak NW) Pay: $16.75-$18.00 per hour
