Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver for a senior gentleman who has Parkinson's Disease. In this vital role, you will assist with daily activities, promote their well-being, and ensure a secure, comfortable environment in his home. Duties include personal care, managing medications, monitoring vital signs and reporting any health changes.

Assisting with safe mobiity, overseeing physical therapy and attending doctors appointments. Also companionship. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve.

Monday through Friday from 8am - noon (20 hours per week minimum) but possibility to extend to additional hours as needed. Must be able to drive. HCA, LPN or RN are all suitable.

Responsibilities

- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide patient care including medication reminders, health monitoring
- Support with meal preparation, feeding, and nutritional needs to promote healthy living
- Maintain a clean and safe environment through light housekeeping and sanitation duties




- Offer companionship and emotional support to foster social engagement and mental well-being
- Help with mobility and lifting as needed to prevent falls or injuries
- Follow care plans accurately and communicate any changes or concerns to the family

Skills

- Proven experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care environments
- Strong understanding of senior care needs, including dementia and Parkinson's disease
- Excellent caregiving skills with patience, empathy, and active listening abilities
- Knowledge of medication administration and basic caregiving procedures
- Physical stamina for lifting and extended periods of standing or walking
- Reliable with strong attention to detail in cleaning and safety protocols
