The successful candidate will be hiredas either an Intermediate, Senior, orStaffPatent Specialist, based onexpertiseanddemonstratedtechnical impact. This role is Hybrid for our Burnaby BC location or 100% remote elsewhere in Canada. Draft and prosecutepatent applicationsacrossdiversetechnical areas.

Build strongpartnershipsacross technical teams. Supportthegrowth,management,and continuous improvement ofD-Wave’s patentportfolio. Bachelor’s degree or higher inPhysics, Mathematics, ComputingScience, Electrical Engineering, ora relatedtechnicalfield.

Experience drafting andprosecuting patentsbeforeaPatent Office. Registration as a Canadian Patent Agent (or equivalentcertification) is an asset. You are developingexpertiseas a patent professionalandhavea strong foundationinpatent drafting and prosecution.
