Indoor Playground Manager

Position: Indoor Playground Manager

Reports To: Corporate Operations

Employment Ty pe: Full-Time

Wage: $20.00-$25.00/hour, based on experience + bonuses

Position Overview The Indoor Playground Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the facility, including staff, customer service, safety, cleanliness, scheduling, and general business operations. The Manager will ensure the playground operates safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company policies and corporate standards.

Fluency in both English and Mandarin is required to support communication with Corporate Operations and the playground equipment manufacturer.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Oversee daily opening, closing, and operation of the facility.
- Hire, train, supervise, schedule, and support staff.
- Maintain a safe, clean, welcoming, and organized playground setting.
- Monitor playground equipment and report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Ensure safety procedures, incident reporting, and emergency protocols are followed.
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally.
- Coordinate birthday parties, private bookings, and special events.
- Monitor inventory, supplies, cash handling, and daily operational requirements.
- Complete required reports and provide regular updates to Corporate Operations.
- Communicate with the playground manufacturer regarding equipment, maintenance,



repairs, and technical concerns.
- Support corporate marketing, promotions, and operational initiatives.
- Identify operational improvements and communicate recommendations to Corporate Operations.

Communication Requirements

- English: Required for staff, customer, vendor, and corporate communication.
- Mandarin: Required for communication with Corporate Operations and the playground equipment manufacturer.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate operational and technical information.

Qualifications

- Previous management or supervisory experience.
- Strong customer service and leadership skills.
- Excellent organization and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong computer and administrative skills.
- First Aid/CPR is an asset.
- Experience in recreation, childcare, hospitality, retail, or customer service is an asset.
- Fluent English and Mandarin required.

Compensation $20.00-$25.00/ hour, based on experience and qualifications + Bonuses
