Role Description The Insurance Broker (100% commission role) is a full-time remote role responsible for advising clients on insurance products and tailoring coverage to meet their personal and commercial needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing risks, preparing quotes, explaining policy options, and managing renewals and policy changes. The role involves maintaining strong client relationships through timely communication, responsive service, and clear guidance on claims and coverage issues.
The Insurance
Broker will collaborate with insurance carriers, stay informed about market developments,
and contribute to the growth of the brokerage through ethical sales practices and client retention. This position requires self-directed work, effective use of digital tools, and adherence to regulatory standards and company policies.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in Insurance Brokerage, including policy placement and risk assessment.
- Strong knowledge of Insurance products across personal and commercial lines.
- Foundational understanding of Finance principles relevant to coverage, premiums, and risk management.
- Excellent Customer Service skills, including relationship building, communication, and problem-solving.
- Experience or interest in Retirement Planning and long-term financial protection solutions.
- Valid RIBO or equivalent insurance license in Ontario (or eligibility to obtain within a defined timeframe).
- Proficiency with CRM and brokerage management systems, and comfort working in a fully remote environment.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
- High ethical standards and commitment to regulatory compliance and professional conduct.
- Post-secondary education in business, finance, or a related field is an asset, as is prior brokerage or carrier experience.
