Interaction Designer (UX, UI) Location: DFW Metro preferred, Remote US/Canada Travel: Up to 25% Across North America

Position Summary We are part of Constellation Software, industry leaders in ERP products for the OPE industry. Our products allow dealers to better manage their businesses and be more profitable. We are looking for an interaction designer with experience in Windows, Web, and Mobile platforms.

Responsibilities Transform complex problems into elegant experiences

Measure usage states and optimize UI and navigation of Desktop, Web, and mobile applications

Own and maintain a design system

Conduct testing of sample applications to assess user experience and ease of design

Create sketches, wireframes, specifications, prototypes, scenarios, and storyboards

Create surveys for quantitative research to gather and distill feedback

Participate in qualitative research, observational studies, usability testing, and customer research, remote and on-site

Collaborate with development teams to ensure that UX research informs the design

Advocate for the user throughout the product development lifecycle

Stay abreast of current design methodologies, practices, and trends

Communicate effectively conceptual ideas, detailed designs, and design approaches/rationales

Qualifications Minimum 3+ years of experience in interaction design, with a strong design portfolio

Demonstrated grasp of usability heuristics

Ability to write simple, clear, and concise microcopy

Excellent visual design skills and experience with leading design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud

Proficiency with interface design, prototype, interaction design, wireframe, and sketching tools

Experience in rapid design with tools like v0, Vercel, Bolt, Lovable, and Replit

Strong understanding of web and mobile technologies - HTML 5, CSS 3, and bootstrap A conceptual thinker with proven problem-solving skills

Meticulous attention to detail

Excellent oral and written communication skills





Nielsen Norman Group (NN/g) certification a plus

Required Education and/or Experience Degree in design or a design-related discipline, including industrial design, user-centered design, visual design, graphic design, design strategy, design management, human factors, psychology, anthropology, ethnography, neuroscience, human-computer interaction, etc.

FLSA Designation (US Only) Exempt

Salary Range The estimated base salary range for this role is USD$78,300.00 - USD$95,700.00 per year. We include salary ranges in job postings only where required by applicable pay transparency laws, based on the jurisdictions in which the role may be performed. The posted range is a good faith estimate and reflects factors that are subject to change.

Final offer amounts may vary based on job-related factors, including work location, candidate experience and expertise, and other relevant considerations.
