The R.E.C.E Six month split shift contract position will run from October 1st, 2026, to March 31st, 2027 with a possibility of extension.

Candidate must be available Monday to Friday 7:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. / 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Must be flexible as shifts may change due to program requirements such as full day shifts on P.A Day, School Closures.

The R.E.C.E one year contract position will run from September 8th, 2026, to September 7th, 2027 with a - 2- week unpaid closure in August.

Candidate must be available Monday to Friday. 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Must be flexible as shifts may change due to program requirements such as full day shifts on P.A Day, School Closures and Summer Camp.

-Ensure compliance with all Ontario Ministry of Education under the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA), Toronto Public Health ( IPAC) Candidate must be familiar Quality Assurance AQI Assessment for Toronto Children's Services.

-Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must

-Ability to work as a team member as well work independently

-Must be able to work outdoors, may be exposed to cold, heat and humidity

-Excellent verbal and written skills





-Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of effective practices and guidance related to children 18 months - 12 years of age

-Ensure the safety of the children for both off site field trips, and ongoing program spaces

- Early Childhood Education Diploma

-Must be registered and in valuable standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators -Current Standard First Aid and CPR C Certification

-Valid Vulnerable Sector Check/Police Reference Check

-Up to date immunization and TB test required by Toronto Public Health

Starting salary $26 per hour, not including eligible funding.
