Lead and support regulatory compliance programs, processes, and initiatives for federal and provincial pipeline regulationsLiaise with regulatory agencies and coordinate inspections, audits, information requests, and compliance communicationsProvide regulatory compliance guidance and subject matter expertise to operations, projects, business development initiatives, and special projectsDevelop compliance awareness programs and provide training to leadership and frontline employeesCoordinate and manage Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) activities, including tracking, reporting, and continuous improvementSupport incident reporting, investigations, and emergency response activities, including Incident Command System participation as neededPrepare compliance reports and maintain regulatory documentationSupport internal assessments to ensure ongoing compliance and operational excellenceRequirementsBachelor's degree and a minimum of 6 years of related regulatory compliance, pipeline operations, or regulatory affairs experience; equivalent combinationsof education and experience will be consideredStrong knowledge of federal and provincial pipeline regulations, CSA Z662, and applicable industry standardsExperience communicating and building relationships with regulators, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teamsAbility to advise operational and business leaders on compliance matters and regulatory requirementsStrong analytical, organizational,
and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a agile environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to prepare reports, deliver training, and present recommendations clearlyProficiency with Microsoft Office applications and other business systemsUp to 25% travelFinal candidates may be required to undergo security screening, including a criminal records checkCore CompetenciesDemonstrates expertise in regulatory compliance for pipeline operations, including strong knowledge of federal and provincial regulations and the ability to provide compliance guidance and training.
