Overview / Responsibilities
Wood’s team has an exciting chance for an Entry-Level Transportation/Construction Engineer with interest in roadway engineering, construction oversight, and opportunities for career growth to join our team in Saskatoon. The ideal candidate has strong technical capabilities, a commitment to delivering a quality product and a desire for career growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve in a technical role working under the direction of a Project Manager to develop roadway construction plans for a wide range of highway design projects
- Work in the field supporting roadway projects
- Develop and write reports
- Provide on-site supervision, contract administration, enforcement of contract specifications, and construction monitoring
Skills / Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- 2 to 4 years of experience in road construction
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with other team members
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Willingness to travel
- Unrestricted driver’s license valid in the province of Saskatchewan and satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving policy
