Junior/Mid-Level Operations Manager – GTA

Type: Independent Contractor, initially part time

Helpero is a Canadian platform for booking trusted local services. We are looking for a hands-on Operations Manager to launch and develop one service zone in the GTA.

Responsibilities

- Research local demand, competitors, and pricing;
- Interview and onboard service providers;
- Coordinate local marketing activities;
- Monitor bookings, provider availability, and service quality;
- Resolve cancellations, delays, and customer complaints;
- Track GMV, costs, Contribution Margin, and zone profitability;
- Prepare short weekly reports;
- Help achieve more than 50 paid bookings in one calendar month.

Requirements
- 1–4 years of operations, project coordination,



customer service, or marketplace experience;
- Strong organization and communication skills;
- Basic knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets;
- Comfortable working with KPIs, budgets, customers, and contractors;
- Knowledge of Toronto and the GTA;
- Ability to work independently and travel within the assigned zone.
