The successful candidate will

- demonstrate a strong conviction to and active practice of the Catholic faith and have an educational philosophy that is in keeping with the philosophy and values of Catholic education,
- hold a valid and subsistent Manitoba Permanent Professional Teaching Certificate, with teaching experience in some grades/subjects in K-12,
- have completed specific post-secondary education in the area of School Counselling towards the Manitoba School Counsellor Certificate, a PBDE in Counselling, or equivalent from another jurisdiction.
- have experience and/or specific training related to Counselling in a school setting.



The successful candidate will have the personal skills to effectively relate with students and parents and be proficient in consulting/collaborating with staff.
- have experience in providing individual and group counselling to support mental wellness, self-regulation, and healthy interpersonal relationships,
- collaborate with teachers to deliver school counselling programs that promote a safe and caring school environment, both individual students, small groups and in large group settings.
