Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the care and well-being of animals in our facility. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal welfare, strong customer service skills, and the ability to handle physical tasks associated with animal care.

Duties

- Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and exercising.
- Maintain cleanliness of kennels and common areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to management.
- Assist with customer interactions, providing information about services and answering questions.
- Perform heavy lifting when necessary, including moving animals or supplies.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed while handling animals.

Experience





- Previous experience in animal care or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners and team members.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and engage in physical activities throughout the day.
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being is essential.

Join us in providing exceptional care for our furry friends while delivering outstanding service to their owners Hours 1pm - 7:30, 4pm - 7 pm. One weekend shift required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
