Overview The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning, dishwashing, baking, meal prep. They will know how to wash, peel, and chop vegetables. They will have knowledge about food handling, and basic food prep tasks.

Responsibilities

- Baking muffins

- Dishwashing

- Sanitizing surfaces & equipment

- Sweeping and mopping floor

- Weighing, packaging, & labelling meals

- Checking temperatures of the coolers

- Unloading supplies & groceries and putting them away

- Assisting in basic cooking tasks

- Taking inventory to ensure the kitchen is stocked with necessary supplies and ingredients

Requirements

- Ability to wash, peel and chop vegetables safely is a definite must

- Previous experience in commercial kitchen environments is preferred





- Knowledge of food safety procedures, and hygiene standards is preferred

- Ability to keep your workstation clean and tidy

- Reliable at ensuring food is refrigerated as soon as possible

- Reliable at checking expiration dates

- Attention to detail

- Ability to follow instructions accurately

- Ability to transition to a current task or change in plan when asked

- Able to communicate needs, questions, concerns

- Bilingual French/English

- Minimum age to legally serve alcohol

Pay: From $15.90 per hour
