- Demonstrated experience speaking to groups and preparing written materials and explanatory solutions for mathematics labs.
- Good working knowledge of the English language (written and verbal).
- A demonstrated ability to:
- - maintain current knowledge in the field of post-secondary Mathematics education.




- - respond to student questions in a broad range of post-secondary Mathematics courses.
- - effectively convey mathematics problem solving techniques to post-secondary students.
- - effectively adapt explanations to meet the needs of a variety of learners.
- - communicate courteously and effectively in person, in writing, and over the telephone with students, faculty, administrators, staff and the public.
- There are two temporary part-time positions available starting September 8, 2026, to December 19, 2026.
- Regular hours of work are Mondays to Fridays, 8:30 am – 6:30 pm. Shift days and times may change depending on the Department’s need. Occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required.
- The first position is 15 hours per week located at the New Westminster campus.
- Thesecond position is 15 hours per week located at the Coquitlam campus.
- Successful candidate must be available for occasional work at both the New Westminster/Coquitlam campuses.
