Team Lead – PAISLEY, ONTARIO
Location: Paisley, Ontario
Employment Type: Permanent | Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Work Schedule: Rotating shifts based on operational needs (6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. or 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.), with occasional overtime when required.
Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and support your team to achieve operational and project objectives.
- Coordinate daily work assignments and ensure resources are effectively allocated.
- Provide coaching, technical guidance, and ongoing performance feedback to employees.
- Foster a positive, respectful, and collaborative team environment.
- Promote CCN's values while ensuring accountability, professionalism, and operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and applicable regulations.
- Champion health, safety, environmental, and quality standards across all activities.
- Participate in safety meetings, workplace inspections, and hazard identification initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with supervisors, managers, and cross‑functional teams to support project execution.
- Monitor productivity, quality, and operational performance while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Support employee onboarding, training, skill development, and workforce engagement.
- Assist with workforce planning, scheduling, reporting, and operational documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering,
Nuclear Engineering, Physics, or another related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience.
- Previous leadership experience within an industrial, manufacturing, construction, technical, or nuclear environment.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- The ability to coordinate teams and effectively manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- A solid understanding of workplace health and safety requirements and best practices.
- Experience leading daily operations and coordinating work crews.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict‑resolution skills.
- Strong analytical thinking, sound judgment, and decision‑making abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to build solid working relationships with employees, management, clients, and stakeholders.
