The Leasing Consultant for a new 55+ adult apartment community opening in Summer 2027 focuses on relationship-driven sales and pre-leasing a building that is still under construction. This role requires patience, empathy, and the ability to sell a lifestyle from floor plans and blueprints before the property opens.

Role Overview The Leasing Consultant drives the community's lease-up phase by building relationships with future tenants. This professional converts early inquiries into deposits and reservation agreements to ensure high occupancy upon opening.

Pre-Opening & Lease-Up Responsibilities

- Pre-Leasing & Sales: Secure early deposits, waitlist applications, and apartment reservations using floor plans, renderings, and finish samples.

- Lead Cultivation: Maintain consistent, empathetic communication with leads over a long, relationship-driven sales cycle.

- Welcome Centre Management: Conduct presentations and virtual tours from a temporary off-site welcome centre or construction trailer.

- Community Outreach:



Build referral networks with local community

- Database Management: Keep accurate, detailed records of prospects in the CRM to track touch points leading up to Grand Opening events.

Post-Opening Responsibilities

- Move-In Coordination: Manage the schedule of staggered resident move-ins starting in Summer 2027.

- Orientation: Introduce new residents to building amenities to ensure a smooth transition.

- Compliance Management: Ensure all lease agreements comply with standard local landlord laws

Specialized Qualifications & Skills

- Empathy & Patience: Deep understanding of the unique challenges of downsizing to an apartment from a family home.
