Job Overview

We are seeking a professional and mature caregiver to live with our client, in his lovely home. The job will entail 7 hours per day of active caregiving tasks such as transfers, bathing, meal support in addition to overnight availability in case of emergency. This is a live in role, please don't apply if you are not wanting a live in situation. The client has a lovely, new suite built for the caregiver.

Requirements

- Class 5 drivers license
- Experience as a caregiver, live in experience preferred
- Ability to cook and follow a recipie
- Ability to tidy and organize house

This is private hire position, the client will pay EI, CPP contributions, 4% vacation in leiu and have WCB coverage. The 'free room' is considered part of the salary compensation. The ideal candidate will benefit from this accomodation as part of the job.



Candidate is welcome to have a part time job or school which can be accomodated around the caregiving hours as long as the scheulde is fixed and consistent. For example the candidate could have another job or school in the mornings and then be available for this client in the afternoons or evenings. Must be able to stay overnight.
