You will be drafting, researching, and getting on your feet in chambers alongside lawyers invested in your growth. Draft pleadings, applications, and related court documents Research a wide range of legal topics Meet with clients and begin building your own relationships Member in valuable standing with the Law Society of Alberta. A genuine interest in litigation, with the energy and ambition to build a practice Excellent writing, research, and communication skills Comfortable with MS Office and Westlaw Interested in the business of law, and in having a life outside the office An existing practice or portable files are an asset, but not a requirement.
