We are looking for a Powertrain Engine OBD Calibration Engineer to support the development, calibration, and validation of gasoline powertrain diagnostic systems. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement OBD diagnostic calibration solutions Perform hands-on diagnostic verification and validation testing Calibrate diagnostic thresholds to meet
CARB regulations Support diagnostic system requirements and hardware development Perform instrumentation, data acquisition, calibration, and data analysis Troubleshoot diagnostic and calibration issues Prepare technical reports, test summaries, and timing projections Support hot-weather and high-altitude validation testing Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical,
Electrical, or related Engineering Up to 3 years of relevant experience; experienced candidates preferred Knowledge of
On-Board Diagnostics (OBD)
and gasoline propulsion systems Experience with
INCA, MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow Solid understanding of instrumentation, data acquisition, and calibration Valid Driver’s License Canadian Citizenship required Willingness to travel approximately
2–4 weeks per year
for validation activities Travel:
Hot-weather and high-altitude testing, including Colorado
