This leadership role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, managing day-to-day accounting functions, overseeing payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, bookkeeping, budgeting, and coordinating information technology resources and systems. This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive accounting knowledge, and the ability to support strategic decision-making through accurate financial analysis and reporting.

- Reporting: Lead all financial and accounting operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance. Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and analysis. Coordinate annual audits and maintain effective internal controls, policies, and procedures. Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, bookkeeping, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end processes. Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions and maintenance of financial records.

- Systems: Oversee organizational technology systems,



software platforms, and third-party IT service providers. Ensure the security, integrity, and effectiveness of financial and operational systems while identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation. Leadership &
- Strategic Support: Provide leadership and direction to accounting and IT team. Support organizational planning and decision-making through financial analysis, reporting and operational recommendations. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, financial institutions, and service providers. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA designation strongly preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Experience: Minimum 5 to 7 years of progressive accounting and financial management experience. Previous supervisory or management experience required.

Experience overseeing payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting and financial reporting.

Experience working with accounting software and enterprise business systems.

Experience coordinating IT vendors and technology services is considered an asset. Payworks, Quickbooks, and retail accounting experience is considered an asset. Knowledge, Skills &

- Abilities Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
