This newly created role requires effective management of municipal services and strategic community engagement. The MD of Lesser Slave River No. 124 is seeking a Manager of Planning & Development and Community Services to implement Council's strategic goals.

This leadership role covers various services, including community grants, planning oversight, and enhancing municipal libraries. You will oversee a dedicated team while ensuring compliance with municipal regulations and policies. Key Responsibilities:

- Advance strategic priorities through effective service delivery
- Supervise and mentor four staff members in planning and community services




- Collaborate with elected officials and community groups
- Ensure compliance with the Municipal Government Act and local bylaws
- Prepare and manage various documentation and reports Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in Planning & Development or equivalent
- Minimum two years in a senior leadership role
- Experience in public sector collaboration
- Robust interpersonal and communication skills
