In this full time role, you will provide essential support to senior engineers in various aspects of structural design and inspection, specifically for transportation infrastructure. Your work includes design calculations, using software tools like CSI Bridge and SAP 2000, and developing AutoCAD drawings. This role also encourages professional development through participation in industry seminars.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams effectively
• Perform inspections and condition assessments on structures
• Design concrete and steel structural elements
• Develop precise structural details and drawings
• Assist in reviewing shop drawings for quality assurance
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in engineering
• Proficient in design software and AutoCAD
• Strong knowledge of Canadian Highway Bridge Design Code
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
