As a vital member of our healthcare team, the RPN collaborates with Registered Nurses and directs Personal Support Workers. This role involves ensuring adherence to AgeCare policies and performing vital health assessments. You will also communicate with physicians and the broader health team to manage residents' care effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement AgeCare policies and assist in procedure revision
• Notify physicians of significant resident changes
• Collaborate with the health care team for quality care
• Direct Personal Support Workers on resident needs
• Participate in shift reports to communicate resident updates
Requirements:
• Knowledge in geriatric and long-term care nursing
• Certificate of Competence from College of Nurses of Ontario
• Familiarity with relevant health acts and regulations
• Demonstrated ability to liaise with health professionals
• Commitment to maintaining high care standards
