Our client has an immediate need for someone who can run the field operations of their Fireproofing, Spray Foam, and Firestop Division, attend site visits, and project-manage the work — in that order. It's a field job with project management attached, not an office job with site visits attached.

The divisions he'd be covering

- Spray polyurethane foam (SPF) — commercial and industrial closed-cell insulation and air barrier.
- Cementitious fireproofing (SFRM) — spray-applied fire-resistant materials on structural steel. Product names: Cafco, Carboline, Monokote, Isolatek. Candidate should understand of density, thickness verification, patching, and inspection.
- Intumescent fireproofing coatings — thin-film coatings on exposed steel. Product names: Carboline,



A/D FIREFILM Dry film thickness control is the whole discipline here — wet film to DFT

Must have:

- 5+ years of hands-on commercial or industrial spray application. Residential attics don't count.
- Has actually run a crew — made the calls on who goes where and what gets sprayed
- Can start up, balance and troubleshoot a plural-component rig
- Reads drawings and specs, holds a schedule against the GC, deals with inspectors

Base is the GTA / Hamilton area with sites across southern Ontario. Compensation is competitive, depending on experience.
