Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Nanny to provide attentive, compassionate care for two children aged 6 and 7, in a disciplined environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support families by ensuring children’s safety, well-being, and development. The ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, and passionate about creating a positive experience for children of all ages.

This paid position involves engaging children in fun activities, assisting with daily routines, and fostering a safe and stimulating environment.

Location

We are located in the Kitchener area, and the children will typically need supervision either at the house or at the office location.

Responsibilities

- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to dietary needs and preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized environment by performing cleaning and tidying up after activities
- Support children with educational activities, teaching basic skills, or helping with homework (if applicable)
- Provide caregiving support for children with Autism and ADHD,



ensuring their unique requirements are met with patience and understanding
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children’s progress, behaviors, and any concerns

Requirements

- Prior experience working with children in a caregiving or babysitting capacity
- Knowledge of meal preparation to ensure healthy eating habits
- Experience working with individuals with ADHD, Autism or special needs is highly valued
- Ability to perform light cleaning duties to maintain a secure environment
- Strong caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and positive communication
- Teaching experience or ability to support early childhood development is a plus
- Valid background check and references demonstrating reliability and trustworthiness
