- Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
- Demonstrated thorough knowledge of O.T. skills and techniques
- Demonstrated ability to provide the following assessment services: functional (COPM), lifestyle and cognitive (CCT)
- Demonstrated ability to provide assessment and treatment interventions for clients
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to the discharge planning process
- Demonstrated ability to work with students from multidisciplines
- Demonstrated ability in program evaluation, Q.A. and research
- Demonstrated communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills The OT/PT functions as an integral member of the interprofessional healthcare team at the JH. They provide comprehensive assessment, treatment planning, and intervention services to patients. Working collaboratively with team members, they apply clinical expertise to maximize patients' functional independence, facilitate recovery, and support safe discharge and community reintegration.

Ward B3 is part of the Juravinski Hospitals Medicine Clinical Teaching Unit (CTU). The unit cares for a diverse patient population that includes two (2) cardiac critical care beds, three (3) medicine observational care beds and ten (10) acute medicine beds.
