About the Role
LGK Wealth Management, a well-established wealth management firm serving clients across Alberta and other provinces in investments, insurance, and financial planning, is seeking an experienced Office Manager to join our team of 18. This role is central to keeping our office running smoothly, overseeing the administrative, financial, and HR functions that support our advisors and staff. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced qualified services environment.
Key Responsibilities In this role, you will manage core financial operations including payroll, bookkeeping, GST and corporate tax remittances, invoice payments, mileage and driving logs, and the organization of corporate receipts. You will also oversee group RRSP and group health benefits administration, including enrolling new staff, and will manage personal claims processing. On the compliance side, you will be responsible for tracking E&O; insurance, licensing renewals, and continuing education (CE) credits for all advisors and staff, ensuring the firm stays current with industry requirements.
This position also plays a key role in human resources and workplace culture.
Responsibilities include staff on-boarding and IT/systems setup for new hires, drafting job descriptions, conducting interviews and performance reviews, and designing and implementing staff bonus structures.
You will manage day-to-day office communication around policies such as cell phone use, tardiness, and sick/vacation days, as well as coordinate staff appreciation events, anniversary gifts, and client gifts. Additionally, you will help coordinate staff photos and marketing updates for social media and other communications.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience in an office administration or office coordination role
- Human resources training or relevant HR experience
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- High attention to detail, discretion, and sound judgment when handling confidential information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-focused financial services environment
