As the asset owner, applies senior level engineering expertise to the assets and systems in the designated discipline and supports the safe, reliable and efficient rail transportation service delivery within an integrated, multi-jurisdictional environment.
The competencies of this position would be acquired through completion of University degree in Engineering on a required discipline, including a Professional Engineering Designation or eligibility to be registered with EGBC, plus eight (8) years of senior level engineering experience, preferably within transit and a Rolling Stock or Rail Infrastructure environment.
Candidates selected to advance will participate in a two-stage interview process consisting of a behavioural and technical interview, followed by a presentation showcasing a significant systems engineering project, technical initiative, or process improvement they have led or contributed to. Asset Qualification: Experience mentoring, coaching, or developing junior engineers is considered an asset.
An applicant will be required to demonstrate their suitability for this position by meeting the minimum level of qualifications and experience in order to be invited into the selection process. A standard interview format will be used including general, scenario and behavioural descriptive interview questions.
37.5 hours per week.

This position works predominately on-site.
The salary for this position ranges from $100,080 - $150,120 per annum. Actual salary offered will be based on education, experience, skills, and qualifications as they relate to the role.
