Guy’s Vac Shop is looking for a friendly, energetic and very hands-on individual to join our team in a part-time position.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is retired or semi-retired and looking to earn some extra income while staying active and involved in the workplace.

It’s an enjoyable, hands-on position in a clean retail setting that is generally easy on the body. If you enjoy fixing things, talking with people and keeping busy, this could be a great fit.

Hours & Availability

This position requires

- Every Saturday from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Additional weekday hours as needed to cover employee holidays, sick days and other absences
- Flexibility to pick up additional shifts when coverage is required

Saturday availability is mandatory. Additional hours will vary, so we are looking for someone with a reasonably flexible schedule who can help us out when needed.

Our #1 Priority – Someone Who Is Handy

Our main priority is finding someone who is mechanically inclined, good with their hands and comfortable doing vacuum cleaner repairs.

Previous vacuum repair experience is not required—we provide training.

However, you should naturally enjoy using tools, troubleshooting, taking things apart, figuring out how they work and fixing them.

Sales experience is an asset, but it is not our main priority.



We can teach you our products and sales process.

Responsibilities

- Troubleshoot and perform vacuum cleaner repairs
- Learn our products and how they work
- Assist customers with purchases and product questions
- Handle day-to-day store responsibilities independently
- Maintain an extremely clean and organized store environment
- Travel to our other locations when required, particularly during training

We can teach someone about vacuums, our products and our sales process. What’s harder to teach is being naturally handy, dependable and good with people. Those are the qualities that matter most to us.
