Role Description

This is a part-time role for a Tutor specializing in Math and Science at Sylvan Learning of Erin Mills. The Tutor will provide personalized instruction, guiding students through their math and science studies. Day-to-day tasks include conducting tutoring sessions, assessing student progress, and developing individualized learning plans. This is an in office role located in Mississauga, ON.

Qualifications





- Strong knowledge of Ontario high school Mathematics and at least one senior Science subject: Physics, Chemistry or Biology
- Ability to teach students in Grades 9–12
- Previous high-school teaching or tutoring experience
- Excellent English communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
- Ability to engage and support students in small-group and one-to-one settings
- Bachelor’s degree completed or currently in progress in Mathematics, Science, Engineering, Education or a closely related field
- Familiarity with the Ontario secondary-school curriculum is strongly preferred
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada without employer sponsorship
- Must be able to work in person at Sylvan Learning of Erin Mills in Mississauga
- Must be available during weekday evenings and/or Saturdays
