Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest activity and entry points
- Apply appropriate pest control treatments using hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery as needed
- Utilize knowledge of pest behaviors to develop customized treatment plans that effectively eliminate pests
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, treatments performed, and follow-up recommendations
- Educate clients on pest prevention strategies and safe handling of pest control products
- Operate various hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery safely and efficiently during treatment procedures
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service appointments and customer satisfaction
Experience
- Prior experience in pest control or related fields is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery is advantageous
- Solid sales skills are a plus, as you will often recommend ongoing pest management solutions to clients
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
- Excellent communication skills to clearly explain procedures and safety instructions to clients
- Willingness to learn about pest behaviors, treatment techniques, and safety protocols necessary for effective pest management
- G2/G license preferred
- Exterminator license preferred but not necessary
