Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to support daily pharmacy operations. You will assist pharmacists in preparing prescriptions, managing inventory, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

- Accurately prepare and label prescriptions under pharmacist supervision
- Accurately prepare and label blister packs
- Assist customers at the counter and over the phone with professionalism and care
- Maintain inventory levels, check expiry dates, and receive pharmaceutical orders
- Operate the cash register and process insurance claims
- Ensure cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations
- Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and prescription refills





Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Completion of a Pharmacy Assistant or Technician program (preferred)
- Previous experience in a retail or community pharmacy setting (asset)
- Familiarity with pharmacy software Propel Rx is a requirement
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently or as part of a team
