The position is available in Montreal or Toronto, with a French language requirement for the Montreal's office.A career as a Senior Advisor – Derivatives and Financial Valuation within the ETF & Specialized Operations team at National Bank means playing a key role in ensuring the accurate valuation of complex financial instruments held in mutual funds and exchange‐traded funds (ETFs), as well as providing financial support related to financial statements.Through your expertise in derivatives, strong financial acumen, and leadership, you contribute directly to the quality of valuations, the mitigation of financial and accounting risks, and the evolution of valuation practices in a regulated and transforming environment.Your jobAct as a derivatives and financial valuation expert for the sectorEnsure the valuation of complex financial instruments held in funds and ETFs (listed and OTC derivatives, structured and hybrid instruments)Define, document, and continuously improve valuation methodologies for financial instrumentsProvide specialized financial support for matters related to financial statements, audits, and regulatory disclosuresServe as a technical reference for valuation issues, accounting interpretation, and professional judgmentParticipate in the launch and onboarding of new funds, including mutual funds and exchange‐traded fundsActively contribute to the implementation, optimization, and governance of ETF valuation processesCollaborate closely with internal teams and external partnersAnticipate financial and operational issues, identify risks,
