Are you an experienced pharmacist ready to lead a unique fertility-focused specialty pharmacy?
We're seeking a Designated Manager (DM) to oversee day-to-day pharmacy operations during a maternity leave of absence, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver exceptional patient care in a high-touch, specialized workplace.

We are a relatively new, specialty pharmacy dedicated to reproductive health. As part of a collaborative network of fertility clinics and healthcare professionals, we’re committed to providing patients with compassionate support and fast, reliable service. This pharmacy location is designed to support moderate volumes of fertility prescriptions and will operate with efficiency, quality, and care.
What You’ll Do:
As a licensed Pharmacist and the Designated Manager, you will:
- Oversee all pharmacy operations in compliance with OCP, NAPRA, and federal/provincial regulations independently.
- Serve as the DM on record with the Ontario College of Pharmacists for a defined period of time.
- Ensure proper storage, preparation, and dispensing of medications (including injectables and cold-chain products).
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation, audits, and reporting.
- Oversee inventory management and supplies for the efficient operation of the pharmacy.
- Handle accounts receivable and daily sales tracking.
- Manage and schedule pharmacists necessary to maintain workflow efficiency and exceptional service.
- Liaise closely with fertility clinic teams to coordinate patient care, address clinical questions, and support customized medication needs.
- Lead and support training initiatives to maintain clinical excellence and staff development.
What You Bring:
- Licensed pharmacist (Part A) in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (required).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a community or specialty pharmacy environment.
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Manager or Designated Pharmacy Manager is preferred.
- Flexibility in working hours (7:30am to 11:30am, up to 5-6 days per week; these hours may vary from week to week to meet the needs of the clinic)
- Strong knowledge of fertility medications, protocols, and fertility treatments is a significant asset.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

Pay: $50.00-$55.00 per hour
