Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, energetic, and patient-focused Physiotherapy Assistant to support our clinical team on a casual basis. This role assists therapists with treatment preparation, patient exercise supervision, clinic organization, and maintaining a clean and welcoming treatment environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for students or graduates pursuing careers in Physiotherapy, Kinesiology, Rehabilitation Sciences, or other healthcare professions.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare treatment rooms before and after patient appointments
- Clean and sanitize treatment tables, equipment, and therapy areas
- Assist patients with prescribed exercises under the direction of a Physiotherapist
- Set up and organize therapeutic equipment and exercise stations
- Assist with patient flow throughout the clinic
- Monitor patients performing exercises and report concerns to therapists
- Restock treatment supplies and maintain clinic organization




- Support therapists with administrative and operational tasks as required
- Ensure compliance with clinic safety, infection control, and privacy standards

QualificationsRequired

- High school diploma or currently enrolled in a post-secondary program
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, professional, and punctual
- Ability to work independently and within a team setting
- Comfortable standing and moving throughout shifts

Preferred

- Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Physiotherapy Assistant, Health Sciences, or related education
- Previous experience in a physiotherapy, chiropractic, rehabilitation, or healthcare setting
- CPR and First Aid Certification (asset)

Pay: $18.00 per hour
