Duties

- Prepare fresh ingredients and assemble menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system, including Micros POS, to process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Provide friendly, attentive service to customers, answering questions and upselling menu items to enhance their experience
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by following proper food handling procedures and cleaning protocols
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely order completion and customer satisfaction
- Support kitchen operations by assisting with food prep,



stocking supplies, and maintaining cleanliness

Qualifications

- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Knowledge of food preparation, handling, and safety practices within the food industry
- Experience using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cash register technology
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
- Ability to follow sanitation guidelines and maintain a clean work environment
- Kitchen or food industry experience is a plus; serving or cashiering background is beneficial
- Willingness to learn upselling techniques to promote menu items effectively
