As an Assistant Foreman, you will be responsible for safely leading a field team of ~20 people to effectively and efficiently manage operating and capital costs while maximizing current production of 32,000 Boe/dwhile supporting significant multi‐year area development. You will be in a pivotal position to deliver on regulatory requirements and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.Job location: Wembley, Alberta – Grande Prairie DistrictShift schedule: 5 x 2, 8-hour shiftsSafety sensitive position: YesApplication deadline: August 25, 2026Key AccountabilitiesProvide leadership, knowledge and direction to field staff towards Canadian Natural's Safety Management SystemsMaximize secure well production and facility throughput by working closely with the Production Foreman, Maintenance Foreman, SCC Coordinator,
Technical and Administration Teams to maintain runtime performance of > 97% from wellhead to salesParticipate in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual operating budgets while maintaining cost control for your areaProvide leadership and supervision to field staff through on-site work planning and day-to-day direction while managing staff performance, spending > 60% of time in the fieldMaintain effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholdersWhat You Bring To The Role10+ years of field experience in an operational, maintenance or technical roleA Production Field Operations Certificate is requiredWorking knowledge of safety standards, environmental regulationsProven team leadership experience in a supervisory or mentorship capacity with strong communication skills (proven project management skills in planning, preparations and execution)Graduate with Engineering Degree, Technology Diploma or Journeyman certification is preferredLean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification preferredKnowledge of the fundamentals of oil and gas economicsWhat We OfferCompetitive salary, stock options, company matched stock savings plan, annual bonusesMay be eligible for relocation pursuant to Canadian Natural's Relocation Policy100% Employer paid extended Health,
