DESCRIPTION

Contract Type: Project-based

EOSOL Group is seeking a Port Operations Coordinator to oversee and coordinate all pre-project operational activities within port facilities and laydown yards. The professional will serve as the key in office operational leader managing field execution teams and contractors performing punch list inspections and repairs, Technical Notification (TN) installations, long-term maintenance, component cleaning, and preservation prior to site dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise regional port and yard operations.
- Coordinate punch list completion and corrective action management.
- Manage repairs and technical modifications on components.
- Oversee Technical Notification (TN) installations.
- Execute long-term maintenance, component cleaning, and preservation activities.
- Plan and control work schedules for site execution teams.
- Supervise field crews and contractors.
- Guarantee components leave the port in fully compliant, installation-ready condition.
- Drive quality assurance, documentation, and operational tracking.
- Facilitate cross-functional communication between engineering, logistics, quality, and site teams. Enforce site safety compliance and work permit controls (LOTO, hot work, etc.).

REQUIREMENTS

Requirements





- 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or lead role.
- 2+ years of experience in wind construction or wind energy projects.
- Ability to lead teams in dynamic outdoor port/yard environments.
- Ability to make decisions under pressure and adhere to tight timelines.
- Strong problem-solving, quality focus, and risk identification abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications.
- English required.
- French required for Quebec .

Working Hours & Conditions

- Standard working hours: 10 hours per day, 6 days per week.
- Rotations available, with a minimum schedule of 4 weeks on / 1 week off, if applicable. Ability to travel as needed to support operations.

Preferred or required based on site activities:

- First Aid / CPR
- LOTO (Lockout/Tagout)
- Hand & Power Tools
- NFPA70E / CSA 462
- Fire Prevention & Fire Extinguishers
- Driver Training
- Hot Work Permits
- HAZCOM / GHS / WHMIS
- Materials Handling (Safe Lifting)
- Confined Spaces & Respiratory Protection
- ASP Quebec Construction Training – mandatory for Quebec.

Freelance Terms

- Independent Contractor / Freelance engagement.
- The professional must be able to issue invoices for services rendered.
- Please indicate your expected hourly or daily rate in CAD.
- The contractor is responsible for their own tax obligations, insurance, and business expenses.
