Job Description Summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an Outside Sales Representative (General Tool/Rental) to develop new business, maintain strong customer relationships, and deliver innovative solutions in general tool and construction equipment.

What You’ll Do

- Prospect and develop new customers in your territory
- Maintain and grow existing accounts through exceptional service
- Coordinate with operations on equipment availability and rental programs
- Deliver presentations and business reviews to management
- Ensure accurate customer records and compliance with safety standards

What We’re Looking For

- Experience:
- 2+ years in direct sales or project management within the equipment industry
- Rental industry experience is an asset

- Skills:

- Strong business development and customer retention abilities
- Technical aptitude and ability to learn engineering concepts
- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Education:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Physical Requirements





Ability to lift 25+ lbs, work indoors/outdoors, and occasionally travel for customer visits. Safety is at the core of everything we do.

Compensation

Base Pay Range: $40,000 – $50,000. Total compensation includes base pay, company vehicle, and a robust commission plan. Expected earning potential: $90,000 – $150,000 in the first year.
