Contribute to the positive development of children as a Child Care Worker at BGC Okanagan in Summerland, BC. This role involves leading and guiding kids through meaningful activities in a nurturing setting.
You will play a vital role in supporting children aged 6 to 12 years, who will benefit from your care and structured programming. You will design engaging activities, maintain safety standards, and build relationships with children and their families. Your work is crucial in establishing a supportive atmosphere where each child thrives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Care for and supervise children aged 6-12
• Organize and implement special events
• Drive Club Vans for pickups and drop-offs
• Train and guide program volunteers
• Maintain communication with parents and caregivers
Requirements:
• Relevant diploma or experience in child care
• At least 19 years of age
• Valid First Aid and Food Safe certifications
• Class 4 Driver's Licence or willingness to pursue
• Successful completion of screening processes
