The Misericordia Community
Hospital is looking for a Project Coordinator who brings organization, initiative and a genuine passion for people. This is more than a traditional project coordination role. You’ll support projects and administrative priorities while helping the Administration Office run smoothly and serving as a welcoming first point of contact for patients, families, healthcare professionals and visitors.

Description
As Project Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Administration Office at Misericordia Community Hospital. You’ll coordinate projects and initiatives, organize meetings and activities, track timelines and deliverables, prepare reports and presentations and help ensure priorities move forward. This role also provides administrative support to hospital leaders and teams, including coordinating information, maintaining records,
preparing correspondence and supporting day-to-day office operations.
You’ll be a welcoming presence in the Administration Office, greeting patients, families, healthcare professionals and visitors with professionalism, compassion and respect and helping connect them with the right people and resources. Success in this role requires someone who can confidently shift between project coordination, administrative tasks and front-facing service. You’ll need strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, sound judgment and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a positive and professional approach.

Required Qualifications Post-secondary education in health, business, administration or a related field. Minimum three years of experience in project coordination, healthcare operations, administration, quality improvement or a related healthcare environment.
Additional Required Qualifications
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, competing deadlines and changing demands. Strong written and verbal communication, facilitation, collaboration and relationship-building skills. Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, with the ability to identify issues and develop practical solutions.
Ability to work independently, exercise initiative and sound judgment while supporting multiple stakeholders. Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality and ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a healthcare environment. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.
Experience preparing reports and presentations for diverse audiences, meeting materials and project documentation. Ability to navigate complex organizational, political and stakeholder environments with professionalism, diplomacy and sensitivity.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience coordinating projects or initiatives within a hospital or healthcare setting.
Experience with project planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. Knowledge of the Alberta healthcare system and the healthcare environment in which Covenant Health operates.
Experience supporting senior leaders or administrative teams in a complex organization.
