Shape the future of child health in Minnesota as a Public Health Nursing Advisor focusing on youth services. This hybrid role involves statewide consultation and educational leadership across public health systems. As a Child and Adolescent Health Consultant, you will serve as a senior advisor in the Health Department, guiding local agencies and healthcare providers.
Your role includes improving preventive care access and quality for children. You will lead workforce development and implement initiatives aligned with statewide health standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead skilled education for child preventive health initiatives
- Provide consultation and technical assistance to public health agencies
- Develop and maintain C&TC; resources and standards
- Support quality improvement for child health programs
- Maintain public health knowledge and proficiency in youth care Requirements:
- Minimum four years in clinical child care settings
- Experience in public health nursing and education for adults
- License as a registered nurse or advanced practice registered nurse
- Current registration as a Registered Public Health Nurse
