This includes running samples, operation and maintenance of analytical equipment, processing and reporting data, evaluating QC results and preparation of standards and samples as required. The Analyst is also required to conduct maintenance and/or repairs under supervision, as well as,



maintain communication with the Analyst Supervisors to contact repair representative(s) as required.ResponsibilitiesPerform sample analysis using assigned instrumentation, ensuring proper calibration, data accuracy, and compliance with QC requirementsProcess and review analytical data using instrument software and LIMS; identify and elevate outliers or OOS resultsPrepare standards and QC samples with accurate documentation and adherence to stability requirementsEnsure timely and accurate reporting of results to meet project deadlinesMaintain, troubleshoot, and perform routine verification of laboratory equipmentSupport QC investigations and ensure compliance with ISO 17025 and GLP standardsMaintain complete and accurate records to support data integrity and audit readinessParticipate in internal and external audits as requiredCoordinate with Supervisors to maintain laboratory supplies and resourcesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environmentCollaborate with team members and support cross-training initiativesFollow all laboratory quality policies, SOPs, and health & safety requirements, including PPE usePerform other duties as assignedEducationBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry or a related field preferredDiploma in Science Laboratory Technology, Environmental Biology, Chemical Technology,



or similar discipline consideredChemical Engineering degree may be consideredEquivalent combinations of education and experience may be acceptedExperienceKnowledge of safe chemical handling, storage, and disposal practicesUnderstanding of basic analytical measurements and solution preparationAwareness of contamination control and prevention techniquesAbility to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a laboratory setting ?Relevant laboratory experience is an asset; equivalent experience may be consideredSoft SkillsStrong organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlinesEffective verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environmentAdaptability and ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced settingAttention to detail and problem-solving abilitiesThe compensation details provided below reflect the expected pay range for this role, based on the selected compensation structure and applicable guidelines. Actual pay within this range may vary depending on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and geographic location.
