Registered Acupuncturist – Women’s Health, Pelvic & Chronic Pain Focus The Compassion Centre

We are excited to welcome an Acupuncturist to join our growing, collaborative team at The Compassion Centre.

Our clinic specializes in pelvic and perinatal care, physiotherapy, counselling, massage therapy, and kinesiology and we’re looking for an acupuncturist who is passionate about supporting clients with women’s health, pelvic dysfunction, fertility, pregnancy/postpartum recovery, and chronic pain. We are looking for someone with specific experience in this area. Experience in labour induction and pregnancy care would be a requirement for this clinical role.

Responsibilities

- Provide individualized acupuncture treatments for pelvic pain, hormonal balance, stress, and chronic pain
- Provide acupuncture treatments related to labour and delivery
- Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team on client care

Qualifications:




- Valid certification or license as an Acupuncturist
- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of hospital protocols
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Compassionate and empathetic approach towards patient care
- Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team
