Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing exceptional therapeutic services to clients, promoting relaxation and well-being through various massage techniques. This role requires excellent communication skills and a robust commitment to customer service, ensuring that each client receives personalized care tailored to their individual needs.

Duties

- Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage, based on client preferences and needs.
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ physical conditions and discuss their health history to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate records of client treatments, preferences, and progress while adhering to confidentiality standards.
- Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments or self-care practices.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients before and after treatments.




- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy techniques.
- Collaborate with other wellness professionals to enhance the overall client experience.

Requirements

- Valid state licensure or certification in massage therapy.
- Proficiency in medical terminology related to anatomy and physiology.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs.
- Excellent customer service skills, ensuring a positive experience for all clients.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed.
- Previous experience in a spa or wellness center is preferred but not required.
