The Lethbridge Police Service is seeking anexperienced law enforcement leader to lead and oversee our Community Peace Officer (CPO) Program in the full-time permanent role of Community PeaceOfficer Sergeant.
Reporting to the Field Operations Support Section Staff Sergeant, the CPO Sergeant is responsible for the leadership, direct supervision, and administration of the Community Peace Officer Unit, ensuring compliance with provincial legislation, appointment requirements, organizational policies, and skilled standards. The CPO Sergeant also oversees operational planning, frontline enforcement activities, recruitment, training, performance management, and community engagement initiatives.
This position plays a key role in promotingpublic safety, fostering positive community relationships, and advancing the priorities of the Lethbridge Police Service.
